About
Once upon a time, during a raging Summer blizzard, my mum dragged me inside our house and lectured me about the dangers of pneumonia. She pleaded me to remove the old kerchief from my head and dry myself, but I was 10 and I had different plans. You see, I just finished reading Jane Eyre, and I wanted to understand its heroine better by reenacting her flight from Thornfield Hall.

Years passed, and I found new ways to express my love of literature. I'm 26, a twin, I hail from Hungary, and I'm a bit of a fool and much of your goth aunt. I'm a bookseller. I have two degrees in literature and I'm applying to PhD programmes to write about Eastern Europe, gloom, poverty and all that jazz. This blog is for all of that and more; rococo, dark wave, book reviews, rants, raves, more books and even more books.
